What a great experience. Fishing with captain Arturo. I felt like I was Fishing with one of my friends back home. Very experience and welcoming. And fun to fish with. Definitely a 5 star. Please get a chance to come out and fish with him. He will put you on the fish 🐟

We booked an 8 hour trip with Captain Arturo Calderas with Get'm Hooked Fishing Charters. It was our first time doing a trip like this because we are from Colorado. My son and I are just used to regular fishing at lakes and ponds. So Visiting South Padre Island and getting this trip marked off our bucket list was an awesome experience and Also it was his birthday gift he requested. Our captain took extra care of my son and put on us on some really good hot spots, we caught a total of 20 fish and my son caught 16 and I caught 4. My son was so excited and that's all that mattered to me. Thanks to our Captain, he was very knowledgeable of the area and made this experience one not to forget. Thank you Get'm hooked/ Arturo Calderas.

This was my first time doing any sort of saltwater fishing so needless to say there was a bit of a learning curve. Captain Arturo was fantastic, making sure we all had the best experience possible. Caught our limit of trout and black drum quickly. I cannot say enough good things about our captain. Dude works hard & isn’t afraid to have fun doing it. I’d recommend Get’M Hook’d to anyone and everyone looking to book a fishing charter. Definitely worth your while!

The trip was AMAZING! CPT Arturo was AWESOME! He was very professional and friendly, we had 4 adults and 2 kids. He worked his butt off the entire time and we caught a TON of fish. We had some weather roll in and he was very flexible with options and what we wanted to do. Highly recommend him, clearly knowledgeable and experienced in the area!

The captain and I had communicated about my style of fishing and how I preferred to fish if possible and Arturo came through. We started out chasing birds and casting for speckled trout and i caught them for 2 hours straight! We switched to live bait to go for a big speck and i nailed it! Right under 20inches for my limit of specks. We switched to red fish and Arturo got me onto a big red fish immediately! I enjoyed myself and will be using Arturo again and i suggest you do to! Friendly, professional and most importantly caught fish!

Caught a trout on my first cast and it was on from there! Our family group of 4 reeled in over 30 fish. We had 10 sea trout keepers in 2 hours with 3 hours to go! GREAT time! He kept us on the fish all day. We tried for red fish for an hour, had no luck but still caught fish. Tried a different technique on sea trout and caught our limit with time to spare. Great captain. Helped us, explained things clearly and was calm the whole time! Thanks Arturo!

My family of 5 went out with Captain Arturo. He was very easy to communicate with him before the trip and gave us tips to prepare. He was a lot of fun for adults and kids and knew how to switch up methods when one was not working well. The reds were fun to catch. I highly recommend Captain Arturo.

Great knowledge of the bay and goes scouting to find the hot spots. Capt is very dependable and provides bait and all your tackle needs on an awesome big boat that's good on shallow water, you won't be disappointed and is good with first time saltwater experience.
